Simple Egg Cozy (Sarung Telur)

    Ini adalah sarung telur yg paling mudah dan ringkas untuk dibuat.. for those yg ingin buat sarung telur untuk kenduri kahwin dengan quantiti yg banyak.. sarung telur pattern ini mungkin salah satu pilihan yg ada.. kalau gigih dan rajin, dalam satu hari boleh buat 20 hingga 30 pcs and of course benang yg digunakan pun tidak lah terlalu banyak dimana 1 buku benang NONA biasanya boleh dapat sekitar 10-12 pcs (bergantung kepada saiz jarum yg digunakan)

Material: acrylic yarn (NONA)
needle size: 3.5mm or 4.0mm

Stitches :

ss = slip stitch

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet


Egg Cozy Pattern

start with magic ring (or chain 4, make into loop and work into that)

Round 1

ch 4 (consider as 1 dc and 1 ch), [1dc, 1ch] x 8 inside magic ring, ss at 3rd ch of ch 4

* including ch 4, there should be 9 set of [1dc, 1ch] inside magic ring*


Round 2


ss to first ch 1 space.  1 ch 1 sc in same space, (ch 3 sc in next ch 1 space) x 8.  ch 3 ss into 1st sc  (9 x 3 ch loops and 9 sc)


Round 3

ss to 3 ch loop.  1 ch 1 sc in loop, (ch 3 sc in next loop) x 8.  ch 3 ss into 1st sc  (9 x 3 ch loops and 9 sc)

Round 4-11 

repeat round 3


Round 12

(for egg cozy handle)

ch 25, skip 4 ch 3 loop, ss at fifth ch 3 loop  Fasten off, weave in
